The top row includes three views of the Bulfinch Building; the middle row, two views of the path which surrounded the Pavilion Wards plus a snapshot of MGH physicians; and the bottom row, from left to right, a view of the Pavilion Wards in winter, the Blossom Street entrance to the hospital, and the 1867 Surgical Building flanked by the MGH tennis court.
