The space now occupied by the Trustees Room has gone through many transformations in its long lifetime. In this sketch, made from details recounted by former MGH director Frederic A. Washburn, we see not only the variety of uses the room was put to (from the director’s living quarters to the Treadwell Library to a Children’s Ward to its original – and current – use as the Trustees Room), but also the vantage points of various photographs taken over the years.
