Ferdinand “Moose” Colloredo-Mansfeld was a Boston-area business leader who was chairman of the MGH Board of Trustees from 1992 to 1999. In 2006 he became an honorary trustee of McLean Hospital, and he served on the boards of numerous other charitable and civic organizations. This portrait was commissioned on the occasion of Colloredo-Mansfeld’s retirement from the role of MGH Board president. It was designed to mirror the portrait of his father-in-law, John Endicott Lawrence (currently in conference room 222).
